Attendance

At Trentham District Primary School the first bell is 8:55, and school starts promptly at 9.00am. This is essential to ensure that children benefit fully from classroom learning and that other children’s learning is not disrupted.

Please be reminded that children arriving later the 9am bell need to sign in at the front office, including students from the 4-6 area. This process ensures we lessen distractions to the teaching and learning program within the classroom and ensure students can move into their classroom room activity immediately without disruption to the teaching and learning.

Parents needing to give messages, items etc. such as lunches, books etc. during the school day must be left at the office. As you can imagine interruptions during learning time are distracting for teachers and for students. I thank you for your understanding.

It is important you advise the school if your child/children will be absent. You can do this several ways.

1. Online, via the Sentral for Parents app, or via the Parent Portal at http://sentral.trenthamps.vic.edu.au/portal

You may call the school office on (03) 5424 1364 between 8.30-4.30pm weekdays.
